INTRODUCTION

My solid university education initially provided me with all the necessary knowledge to practice the art of medicine.

To heal people, one must understand how they function—not just biologically but also psychologically and in relation to their environment.

The workings of the human body are based on years of study in medical school: biochemistry, physiology, anatomy, physics, nuclear medicine, embryology, and more—all aimed at understanding the intricate mechanisms of our physical being, from cells to organs.

Then came specialized studies: cardiology, pulmonology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, nephrology, urology, etc.—each focusing on how specific systems operate.

Finally, I was equipped to embark on my medical career, practicing what I believe to be one of the most beautiful professions in the world.

However, after a year in private practice, I found myself facing therapeutic dead ends with certain patients. Allopathic medicine offered no solutions for them, yet I refused to abandon them.

Faced with this reality, I had to acknowledge the limitations of the medicine I had been taught.

Then, a pivotal event completely changed my perspective on medicine.

I will never forget the moment that triggered this shift—an event that opened a door for me, leading to many more discoveries.

My brother, who is nearsighted, told me, “Ever since I had Hijama, I haven’t needed my glasses for six months.”

With my scientific and analytical mindset, I wondered: how is this possible?

From that moment, I began researching Hijama, which led me to Traditional Chinese Medicine—a millennia-old practice that continues to thrive today.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, human beings are seen as integral parts of their environment, interacting with everything around them. There is continuity between the microcosm and the macrocosm—everything is connected like a vast web.

This philosophy introduces a new understanding of humanity, treating individuals holistically rather than in isolated parts. Unlike conventional medicine, which often compartmentalizes the human body, Traditional Chinese Medicine makes connections between diseases, organs, emotions, pain, suffering, nature, seasons, diet, and more.

The most remarkable thing is that these two medical approaches are not contradictory; rather, they complement each other.

Since that moment, and still today, I continue to explore the infinite potential of human healing.

It was as if I had opened Pandora’s box, revealing endless new possibilities for treating and supporting my patients.

With my diverse training and personal experiences, I now guide people not only in healing their physical bodies but also in understanding their suffering—helping them navigate towards well-being and, ideally, recovery.

My passion is to help individuals untangle the origins of their illnesses and lead them toward true healing.

I consider myself a scientist, but one with an open mind. Not everything is visible, not everything is measurable, and there cannot be only one method of validating complementary therapies, especially the rigid framework imposed by the pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge, skills, and practice all contribute to effective treatment.

Patient care should be comprehensive to achieve the best results in both effectiveness and longevity—addressing the root cause rather than merely treating symptoms.

Different medical approaches can be invaluable for patients who experience treatment resistance, for whom conventional medicine offers no relief or solutions.

However, I must emphasize the importance of vigilance. There are individuals who claim to cure everything, exploiting vulnerable patients for financial gain. Unfortunately, this field is not immune to sectarian drifts, and caution is essential.
